Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra Workshop – Fire element and Heart Opening

  • Cafe Root & Well-being Studio Unit 1, Sude Hill Mill, Penistone Road New Mill, Holmfirth, HD9 7DU United Kingdom (map)

The fire element in Yin Yoga is associated with summer, joy, passion and connection.

It uses heart and chest opening postures to invite you to expand, create space and find balance.

Join us for a gentle 90-minute Yin Yoga workshop inspired by the Fire element.

This is your time to breathe, grow and reconnect with your natural rhythm as we move into late Spring and towards the long summer days.

✨ What to Expect

Yin Yoga Practice.

A nourishing sequence where we hold postures for 3-5 minutes, allowing the body to release into the deeper connective tissues and gently letting go of tension.

Guided Breathwork.

Simple, grounding breath practices to cultivate presence, steadiness and inner clarity.

Yoga Nidra Meditation

A deeply restorative guided meditation to help you relax, restore and reconnect.

Closing Ritual

Dark chocolate and aromatherapy oils to gently awaken the senses and seal your practice.

🌿 Why the Fire Element?

The fire element is connected to our sense of joy. It is the most important of the five elements in Yin Yoga as it is associated with the Heart Meridian. The heart is the centre of our emotional health and well-being. When the fire element is balanced, we can experience joy, purpose and true connection.

🌙 What Is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that brings you into a state of conscious, deep relaxation — the space between waking and sleeping.

Often called “yogic sleep,” it is known to:

  • Reduce stress

  • Improve sleep quality

  • Calm the nervous system

  • Support physical and emotional well-being

It’s a powerful yet effortless way to reset.

💛 Who Is This Workshop For?

Absolutely everyone.

This workshop is inclusive and open to all bodies and experience levels. We use plenty of props and supportive variations so you can access each posture in a way that feels right for you.

Whether you're new to Yin and Yoga Nidra or a seasoned practitioner, this workshop offers an opportunity to stretch, soften, and reset — ready to step into spring feeling grounded and renewed.
