Become a Comprehensive Classical Pilates Teacher

Our Comprehensive Classical Pilates Certification is a 600-hour training programme designed to be completed over a two-year period.

This immersive training includes self-practice, observation, teaching practice, and lessons with experienced Classical Pilates teacher Keren Patzia.

While the programme is based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, your required hours can also be completed at another studio, provided you are practising with the same principles and intentions we uphold.

Learn the Authentic Classical Pilates Method

Throughout the programme, you will learn the complete Pilates system as it was intended by Joseph Pilates and as it was passed down to Keren through her mentor, Jay Grimes.

Jay worked closely with Joseph Pilates in the late 1960s and continued his studies with Clara Pilates for another decade. His dedication to preserving the integrity of the method inspired Keren to teach and share the invaluable knowledge she has gained—not only from him, but from many respected teachers committed to the authentic Classical Pilates system.

What You’ll Learn

During the training, you will develop a deep understanding of how all Pilates apparatus (Reformer, Cadillac, all the Chairs, Ladder barrel, and Mat) work together as an interconnected system.

You will receive comprehensive course manuals and have the opportunity to learn and practise in a supportive, safe, and welcoming environment with a maximum of 12 participants.

Support Throughout Your Training

You will also have access to a private community group where you can ask questions, share experiences, and connect with fellow trainees throughout the programme and beyond.

Certification

Upon completion of the 600 required hours, you will be eligible to sit a two-hour examination assessing your:

● Teaching skills

● Self-practice

● Theoretical knowledge

Successful graduates will receive a signed certification recognising them as a Comprehensive Classical Pilates Teacher.

Total Course Fee: £4,100

To secure your place on the course, a £500 deposit is required. The deposit is fully refundable if cancellation is made at least three months prior to the course start date. No refunds will be available for cancellations made within three months of the course start date.

The remaining balance of £3,600 must be paid in full no later than one month before the course start date.
