In The Flow: Introduction to Vinyasa Yoga - The pace of vinyasa yoga can sometimes feel a bit confusing for the beginner.  This workshop explores the fundamentals of a vinyasa practice at a slower pace and with lots of repetition so that you will leave with a good foundation to continue a vinyasa based practice in a regular class.  At the heart of vinyasa is the breathing rhythm.  Breath is the bridge that connects life to consciousness and consciousness to the source of creation, unifying mind, body and spirit in presence and peace.  In vinyasa yoga, all movements arise from the breath to create a meditative dance of dynamic grace.  In this workshop we will focus on the fundamentals of developing the breathing cadence, break down the sun salutations which provide the basis of the vinyasa method and apply this learning with lots of repetition so that you feel confident to continue your vinyasa practice.
